I’m a native Texan living in Brooklyn and I bring a decade of photojournalism experience to my wedding and portrait work. Before moving to the Big Apple, I photographed for the Houston Chronicle and other publications, shooting things like NBA basketball games, black-tie galas, rock concerts, and even NASCAR at Texas Motor Speedway, where I received the worst sunburn of my life (worth it).
My philosophy is to keep things natural and be as unobtrusive as possible when I photograph. I’m there to put you at ease, let the magic happen, and capture genuine moments. (But when there is posing, I will gently guide you for the most flattering angles). The best compliment I can receive is a wedding couple telling me they forgot I was even there. That’s what makes for the best photos!
